WELCOME TO BYTOWN TOASTMASTERS!
Bytown Toastmasters has a diverse membership of interesting
people who gather each Wednesday evening to hone their
communication and leadership skills. We have a lot of fun
in the process. Guests are warmly welcomed to our relaxed,
friendly club. Please join us for a night or, better still, as
a member!
MEETING TIMES
We meet every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 from September to
June. In July and August, we meet every two weeks.
LOCATION
The club meets in one of the meeting rooms at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. This
is a beautiful facility that provides a warm and friendly
atmosphere for our meetings. Royal College 774 Echo Drive, or 265 Sunnyside.
GUESTS
Guests are particularly welcome. You are encouraged to visit
and participate at the level at which you are most comfortable.

DIRECTIONS
-> Going south on Bank Street, past
Landsdown, over the bridge, to Sunnyside, turn left (east)
onto Sunnyside.
-> Almost immediately, look on your left
(it's not that visible after dark) and you will see a wrought
iron electronic gate, opening into the parking lot of the
College.
-> The gates will be open until 6:30 p.m.
sharp - if you arrive after that time, the gates will be
closed/locked and you cannot drive (or walk) onto the
premises.
-> You can park anywhere you want on the
premises, but you will be entering the building at the main
entrance, which is around to the right of the building. There
is a wheel-chair accessible ramp close to the front door.
-> Doors open at 6:05 and someone will be at
the front door to greet you until 6:30 when the meeting
begins. After that, you will not be able to enter the building, so please try not to be late.
JOINING THE CLUB
To join our club, please print and complete an
application form .
Bring the completed form to the next meeting with a cheque
payable to Bytown Toastmasters. There is a $40 initiation fee
for the first year and our annual fee is $90.
Your fees cover your membership in Toastmasters
International and the material you will receive, including a
monthly publication and speaking manuals.
